Rebbe Steiner Sajele of Kerestir studied in Liska at the home of Reb Hershele Friedmann, where he immersed himself in profound Torah knowledge and wisdom. This knowledge paved the way for his remarkable journey in serving the community.

Under Reb Hershele Friedman's leadership, Liska (Olaszliszka) became a spiritual center of Hasidism, drawing thousands who came to see him.

Heritage of Moshe Teitelbaum

Hershele's initial knowledge was acquired by Yismach Moshe, who was the Rebbe of Ujhely (Sátoraljaújhely).  Teitelbaum selected Hershele as his heir, and his wisdom now reaches every corner of the world.
